Job summary

EBC Financial Group is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our growth in Kuala Lumpur. You will design and execute recruitment strategies, source candidates, screen applicants, and partner with hiring managers to build strong regional talent pipelines.

The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years of HR or recruitment experience, regional hiring exposure, and excellent communication skills. Mandarin is an advantage in our multicultural, startup-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in HR or Recruitment.
• Regional hiring experience across multiple countries.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
• Startup environment experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates through various channels.
• Proactively source and identify potential candidates via online platforms and networks.
• Screen, interview, and assess candidates for role fit and cultural alignment.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and craft job descriptions and interview processes.
• Contribute to building and maintaining a positive employer brand through events and partnerships.
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to support current and future hiring needs.
• Assist in onboarding to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
• Perform other duties as required by management.

We are seeking Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates through various channels, including social media, job boards, and networking events.
• Proactively source and identify potential candidates by utilizing online platforms, professional networks, and industry connections.
• Conduct thorough candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments to ensure alignment with job requirements and cultural fit.
• Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and collaborate on creating job descriptions, candidate profiles, and interview processes.
• Contribute to building and maintaining a positive employer brand through engaging content, networking events, and partnerships.
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to support current and future hiring needs.
• Assist in the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as specified when required by the management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in Human Resources or Recruitment is required.
• Regional hiring experience across multiple countries is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Mandarin speaker will be added advantage.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Experience in a startup environment would be advantageous.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
