Job summary

Maxis is seeking a Talent Acquisition Intern in Kuala Lumpur to support end-to-end recruitment processes, screen applications, coordinate interviews, and maintain the applicant tracking system. You will engage with candidates, provide timely updates, and assist with recruitment operations in a fast-paced, people-centric environment.

Internship opportunities are available for up to 6 months, with immediate start for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities

• Screen resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates for internship and entry-level roles.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Communicate with candidates, providing timely updates on their application status.
• Maintain and update the ATS with accurate candidate records and recruitment progress.
• Provide general operational support in recruitment-related activities as needed.

The Talent Acquisition Intern will support key recruitment processes — from screening applications to candidate communications — ensuring a smooth and timely hiring journey. What are you accountable for?

• Screen resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates for various internship and entry-level roles.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Communicate with candidates, providing timely updates and answering basic queries on their application status.
• Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with accurate candidate records and recruitment progress.
• Provide general operational support in recruitment-related activities as needed.

Who are we looking for?

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related fields.
• Outspoken, confident, and passionate about people engagement and talent experience.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in handling multiple tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A positive, collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn.

Additional Information
