Qualifications

Role Overview

Join Maxis as a Contract Management Developer Intern, where you will gain hands-on experience supporting contract governance, compliance monitoring, and digital transformation initiatives within the contract management function. This role offers exposure to contract lifecycle processes, business intelligence development, data analytics, and emerging AI technologies, while working closely with stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and contract visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Contract Compliance Monitoring Assist in monitoring contract compliance and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and internal governance requirements. Support reviews and reporting activities related to contract performance and compliance.
• 2. Contract Development Support Assist in the formulation and preparation of new contracts. Support the contract team in maintaining accurate documentation and contract records.
• 3. Business Intelligence & Dashboard Development Create and maintain business intelligence reports and dashboards for the contract management team. Support data visualisation and reporting initiatives to improve decision-making and operational visibility.
• 4. Purchase Reconciliation & Settlement Calculations Assist in purchase reconciliation activities and settlement calculations. Support data verification and ensure accuracy in financial and contractual records.
• 5. Contract Management Automation Support automation initiatives aimed at improving contract management processes. Assist in leveraging digital tools and AI technologies to streamline workflows and improve information accessibility.

Value-Added Project

The intern will have the opportunity to work on impactful digital transformation projects within the Contract Management team, including:

• 1. Business Intelligence & Dashboard Development Integrate and automate data extraction from multiple data sources Identify and define business logic for discount and incentive calculations Perform data cleaning, transformation, and preparation Develop BI dashboards for tracking, reporting, and business insights
• 2. Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for Contract Management Build pipelines to collate contracts from multiple repositories Perform OCR, text extraction, and table extraction across Word, PDF, and Excel documents Process documents through chunking, metadata tagging, and clause structuring Support the setup of storage architecture including object storage, SQL databases, and vector databases Assist in implementing embedding models and Large Language Model (LLM) integrations for RAG-based contract querying

These projects provide valuable exposure to real-world applications of AI, data engineering, business intelligence, and contract digitisation.
