Job summary

Roche in Malaysia is seeking a Travel & Expense Compliance Intern to uphold high ethical standards and safeguard financial integrity. You will audit employee reimbursements and liaise with regional affiliates to support transparency and control.

Ideal candidates are undergraduates in business, law or finance, with a CGPA of 3.0 or higher, and fluent in English; additional language skills such as Thai, Vietnamese, Korean or Japanese are a plus.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student with CGPA 3.0+.
• Available for a minimum period of 6 months.
• Good command of spoken and written English; other language skills such as Thai/Vietnamese/Korean/Japanese are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess compliance of employee reimbursement activities against policies and regulations.
• Document all assessment results in Concur during claim processing.
• Support data analysis/testing for reporting to affiliates/Compliance Projects.
• Escalate issues to supervisor when required.
• Engage with colleagues from other business functions as needed.
• Support operational activities and identify opportunities for process improvement.

By managing precise employee reimbursement audits, you will help protect company resources and brand trust. Working closely with our regional affiliates, you will serve as an essential partner in driving transparency, accountability, and operational excellence across the organization.**The Opportunity:**● Responsible for assessing compliance of employee reimbursement activities in a timely and accurate manner, against the Company’s Policies\\*, Procedures and External regulatory requirements.Note: \\*The number of affiliates supported will be determined by operational requirements● Clearly documents all compliance assessment (i.e assessment results) activities in concur during claim processing● Performs other relevant support activities as and when required (e.g. support in validating/ performing data analysis/testing which contributes to the reporting to affiliates/ Compliance Projects )● Escalates issues to superior/RSS Line Manager (where required)● Engages in networking with colleagues from other business functions when required to● Supports the team in performing operational activities and involved in identifying/ implementing improvement opportunities within the current operational process**Who you are:**● Undergraduate students from reputable universities in relevant fields of study (Prefer business, law or finance related major).● Consistently achieved strong academic performance (minimally CGPA 3.0 or equivalent).● Available for a minimum period of 6 months.● Good command of spoken and written English and other language competencies (such as Thai/Vietnamese/Korean/Japanese)● Proactive at work and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently● Strong analytical skills and great attention to details
