Job summary

Roche Malaysia is seeking an Associate Compliance Analyst to assess employee expense claim compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. You will document results in Concur and escalate issues with timely resolution plans.

The role also involves supporting reports, training materials, and ongoing process improvements to strengthen the compliance program. The candidate should have a university degree (business, law, or finance preferred) and 2+ years of compliance experience in

• Applications with less than 2 years’ experience will be at Associate Compliance Analyst level.

Responsibilities

• Assess compliance of employee expense claims in a timely and accurate manner against policies, procedures and external regulatory requirements.
• Participate in compliance programs, projects and ad-hoc tasks assigned by Line Manager/Global Lead.
• Document all compliance assessment results in Concur during claim processing.
• Escalate issues and propose resolution plans to RSS Line Manager and Affiliate where required.
• Support reports and training material updates for the compliance monitoring process.
• Identify opportunities to improve compliance documentation and reviews.
• Collaborate with the Global Lead for process improvements and solution delivery.

The Position

Key Responsibilities (Operational)

• Responsible for assessing compliance of employee expense claims in a timely and accurate manner, against the Company’s Policies*, Procedures and External regulatory requirements.
• Participate in compliance programs, projects and other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Line Manager/Global Lead.
• Clearly documents all compliance assessment (i.e. assessment results) activities in concur during claim processing
• Escalates issues and recommend resolution plans in a timely manner to the RSS Line Manager and Affiliate (where required)
• Support the preparation of reports and training material on a periodic basis to address updates to the compliance monitoring process

Note: *The number of affiliates supported will be determined by operational requirements

Key Responsibilities (Continuous Improvement)

• As part of day-to-day operations work collaboratively with the team to identify opportunities to improve compliance documentations (e.g. review manuals, return reason coding etc)
• In collaboration with Reporting Line Manager make appropriate recommendation to Global Lead for process improvement and be part of the solution provision activities

Qualifications And Experience

• University degree or above (prefer business, law or finance related major)
• More than 2 years’ experience in compliance reviews or its equivalent and its implementation in a highly regulated environment or in audit firms
• Note: Applications by individuals with less than 2 years’ experience will be at the Associate Compliance Analyst level.
