Job summary

Genki Sushi in Malaysia is hiring a Full-time Kitchen Helper at Sunway Velocity. You will assist in food preparation, present menu items, and ensure smooth service in a fast-paced sushi restaurant.

Responsibilities include welcoming customers, guiding through the menu, taking orders to the kitchen, keeping the dining area clean, and assisting with sushi preparation while maintaining safety standards. Hostel and meals allowances are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for providing exceptional customer service and willingness to go the extra mile.
• Knowledge of Japanese cuisine or sushi-making would be an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Guiding customers through the menu and making recommendations based on their preferences
• Taking customer orders accurately and communicating them to the kitchen in a timely manner
• Keeping the dining area clean, tidy and well-stocked
• Assisting with the preparation and presentation of sushi and other menu items
• Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or requests promptly
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
