Job summary

Genki Sushi (Midvalley, Kuala Lumpur) is seeking a full-time Sushi Crew to welcome guests, guide selections, and ensure smooth service in a fast-paced dining environment.

Responsibilities include taking orders, coordinating with the kitchen, keeping the area sanitary, and assisting with sushi preparation. Prior customer-facing experience is preferred; knowledge of Japanese cuisine is a plus. Hostel and meals allowances are provided as perks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality or food service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for friendly customer interaction.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to go the extra mile to provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Guiding customers through the menu and making recommendations based on their preferences.
• Taking customer orders accurately and communicating them to the kitchen in a timely manner.
• Keeping the dining area clean, tidy and well-stocked.
• Assisting with the preparation and presentation of sushi and other menu items.
• Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety standards.
