Job summary

Zuellig Pharma is seeking a Supply Demand Planner in Malaysia to manage day-to-day demand forecasting, replenishment planning and KPI development for Malaysia and Brunei markets. You will work with Sales & Marketing to drive accurate demand while ensuring stock availability and timely shipments.

The role requires 5–8 years of relevant experience, familiarity with ERP/SAP, and strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills to support business growth in the region.

Responsibilities

• Act as key contact for clients on demand forecast, supply planning, and PO placement.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to drive accurate demand through historical data and campaigns.
• Plan forecast supply and shipments to ensure stock availability and avoid stockouts.
• Analyze demand trends, identify opportunities and risks; advise management.
• Develop KPI reports including forecast accuracy and inventory levels.
• Review short expiry stocks and coordinate with Sales & Marketing to deplete them.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align with business needs.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Purpose of the Role

This position is responsible for day-to-day demand supply forecasting, replenishment planning, development and execution of KPIs for Malaysia and Brunei markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Key contact person to clients in areas related to demand forecast, supply planning, PO placement, material management and shipping arrangement.
• Work closely with Sales & Marketing to drive accurate demand through analysis of historical sales data, market trends, new products launch, marketing campaigns and promotional timeline.
• Plan forecast supply and shipment of stocks based on demand from commercial team to ensure consistent stock availability and avoid stockouts.
• Analyze demand trends, identify opportunities, highlight risks and make recommendations to management to improve forecast accuracy.
• Develop reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including forecast accuracy and inventory holding.
• Review short expiry stocks and work closely with Sales & Marketing to deplete near expiry stocks to minimize write-offs.
• Collaborate with cross functional departments (Client Service, Warehouse, Regulatory and Finance) to ensure alignment with the needs of business.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy and responsiveness within the supply demand functions.
• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by management.

Education:
