Job summary

Zuellig Pharma in Malaysia is seeking a Pharmacist and Operations Lead to oversee distribution activities and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes strict adherence to Poison Act regulations, NPRA licensing, and coordination with quality and regulatory teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Pharmacy degree, is a registered pharmacist, and has strong Excel/PowerPoint skills to manage reports, complaints, and audits.

Qualifications

  • Degree of Pharmacy to be eligible to apply for Poison A Licence.
  • Registered Pharmacist with valid annual retention on the Pharmacist Register.
  • Technical competencies in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point.

Responsibilities

  • As a Poison A Licence Holder, ensure all operations activities related to distribution performed by Operation & Customer Service Teams are controlled and monitored with strict accountability in accordance to stipulated Regulatory, GSDP & GDPMD requirements.
  • Ensure mandatory monthly regulatory reports are maintained up to date and submitted to respective regulatory body (if necessary) as per required / committed timeline.
  • Lead all product complaints & adverse events and coordinate with other departments to ensure timelines are met and deviations are managed where applicable.
  • Act as the official liaison with the local regulatory body and NPRA to ensure all regulatory licences are maintained and renewed timely.
  • Control and monitor all transactions (Inbound & Outbound) of all controlled drugs such as PD, DD & PSE to ensure full compliance to Poison Act & Regulations.
  • Lead Operations Team in pharmaceutical waste destructions and product recall processes to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Quality Lead to support Operations Team in external audits by local regulatory body, NPRA, certification body and clients. Subsequently to work on the CAPA responses for the audits' findings with Operations Team.
