Job summary

• Bachelor’s degree required in SCM, Logistics, Industrial Eng., or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in supply chain management and solution design.
• Proven leadership in large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current supply chain processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose data-driven solutions.
• Develop and implement innovative supply chain strategies, including network design, inventory optimization, transportation management, and warehousing solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of supply chain initiatives.
• Lead project management efforts for supply chain solution implementation, including defining scope and timelines.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies and automation solutions to enhance supply chain capabilities.
• Monitor KPIs and provide regular reports on performance and ROI.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Solutions Manager to optimize and innovate JD.com's extensive supply chain network. This role involves designing and implementing strategic solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction across our logistics and fulfillment operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze current supply chain processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose data-driven solutions for improvement.
• Develop and implement innovative supply chain strategies, including network design, inventory optimization, transportation management, and warehousing solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., procurement, operations, IT, sales) and external partners to ensure seamless execution of supply chain initiatives.
• Lead project management efforts for supply chain solution implementation, including defining scope, setting timelines, managing resources, and tracking progress.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies and automation solutions to enhance supply chain capabilities and competitiveness.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and develop business cases for proposed supply chain investments.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on supply chain performance and solution effectiveness.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in supply chain management and e-commerce logistics.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations, with a focus on solutions design and implementation.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and executing complex supply chain projects from conception to completion.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools).
• Expertise in supply chain principles, including network optimization, inventory management, demand forecasting, and transportation planning.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and other supply chain software.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is a significant advantage due to the company's primary operations.
