Job summary

Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Supply Chain Senior Executive to oversee logistics, stock control, and import activities with a hybrid work model that includes from home benefits.

You will coordinate with distributors and forwarders, prepare shipping documents, negotiate terms, and support the sales team while ensuring GDP compliance and efficient distribution across Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical logistics and distribution is preferred.
• Knowledge of GDP guidelines is advantageous.
• Good coordination with distributors, forwarders and sales teams.

Responsibilities

Job description

Japanese multinational pharmaceutical company located in Damansara Height (next to MRT Semantan station) is looking for supply chain senior executive to join us.

HYBRID MODE WITH WORK FROM HOME BENEFIT

Responsible supply chain and sales support, controlling domestic logistics and importation of products including custom clearance, and providing support to the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Act as window person in charge of logistics, liaising with distributors, forwarders, manufacturers/exporters and related organisations as supply chain responsible person;
• Administer inventory stock and distribution;
• Administer importation schedules and arrange preparation of smooth distribution from overseas transportation/importation procedures to supply to clients;
• Negotiate matters related to manufacturing/packaging and issue purchase orders;
• Prepare shipping documents, check custom clearance and oversee distribution based on GDP regulation;
• Allocate optimised inventory stock (Product/Bonus/Sample) in each warehouse and administer appropriate environment of inventory stock;
• Negotiate margin or terms with forwarders and distributors and maintain good relationships along with price strategy;
• Confirm invoices such as margin, bonus and related services;
• Check monthly inventory stock and support COGS calculation for accounting;
• Deal with clients such as hospitals, clinics and pharmacies regarding supply chain matters, draft and conclude supply chain contracts, and issue quotations;
• Provide sales support to sales team, e.g. prepare quotation for hospital and drafting agreement for doctors;

Working experience in pharmaceutical industry is added advantage.
