JOINTHIRE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Supply Chain Manager for the printing industry to oversee end-to-end operations across procurement, warehousing, distribution, and production planning to optimize costs and service levels.

You will collaborate with Sales, Production, Finance and Quality Assurance to ensure material availability, implement stock reduction strategies, and align with environmental policies while managing supplier performance and negotiations.

Qualifications

• 6 - 8 years of proven experience in end-to-end supply chain management including procurement, warehousing, and distribution
• Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities
• Ability to design and implement strategic warehousing and inventory control procedures
• Experience with demand forecasting and production planning
• Knowledge of environmental policies and supply chain regulations

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate warehousing, procurement, distribution, production planning, and inventory management activities to optimize costs and efficiency
• Review and update supply chain practices in alignment with environmental policies, standards, and regulations
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers, vendors, and freight forwarders
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance regarding quality, delivery requirements, and performance metrics
• Design and develop plant warehousing strategies for production materials and finished products
• Collaborate with supply chain planners to forecast demand and ensure material availability
• Analyze inventory levels to implement stock reduction strategies and adopt LIFO principles
• Manage strategic and tactical purchasing, material requirements, and inventory control
• Coordinate supply chain procedures with other functional areas including Sales & Marketing, Production, Finance, and Quality Assurance
• Implement supply chain processes that support business strategies, market conditions, and cost reduction goals

This company manufactures consumable media for imaging and printing applications, including dye-sublimation thermal transfer media used in photo output and thermal ribbons used for barcode and label printing. Operating from a dedicated production facility, it supplies these consumables together with related printers, systems, and software to a broad customer base spanning regional and international markets.

Job Description
