Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an experienced SCM leader to oversee planning, procurement, logistics and customer service for a plant. You will drive S&OP, forecast accuracy, and lean initiatives while ensuring import/export compliance and optimal inventory levels.

The role demands strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include leading PFEP/Kanban implementations, refining ERP/MRP usage, supplier coordination, and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years working experience in Supply Chain Planning & Control, Production Planning & Control, Materials Planning and Management, Logistics management, Customer Service, SCM Improvement Project and Program management.
• Good understanding of working flows and procedures for trading and manufacturing business environment.
• Lean knowledge and experience for Supply Chain Management.
• Experience in IATF16949 would be a plus.
• Strong data analytical skills and proficiency with ERP system.
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead S&OP program for location / plant level and work closely with cross-functional teams to generate a robust Demand / Supply / Inventory Plan for location guiding for business day to day operations.
• Lead weekly sales forecast and ensure monthly sales forecast accuracy.
• Lead Lean Imperatives (S&OP, PFEP, F/G Strategy) implementation and improvement programs for location with full support from division management team.
• Ensure production planning and scheduling efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead Inventory Management Improvement Program to prepare inventory forecast and drive improvement for forecast accuracy.
• Lead program on implementation and improvement of Demand Planning Management System and ERP / MRP system.
• Support Sourcing team to pursue supplier on time delivery; Coordinate on supplier lead time reduction programs like VMI hub and JIT.
• Lead Logistics management improvement and ensure Import and Export Control compliance.
• Use Supply Chain Team Improvement Board to track SCM team performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Support Win Strategy related deployment for location.
• Maintain the key customers and approved, coach and develop SCM team competency.

Responsibility

Position Summary

Lead entire supply chain management function for plant operations including supply chain planning, procurement, logistics & warehouse management, and customer service for meeting customer delivery requirements and delivering excellent customer experience while controlling the inventory at optimal level. Ensure Import and Export Control is in compliance with local authorities, business and company Trade Compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead S&OP program for location / plant level and work closely with cross-functional teams to generate a robust Demand / Supply / Inventory Plan for location guiding for business day to day operations.
• Lead weekly sales forecast and ensure monthly sales forecast accuracy.
• Lead Lean Imperatives (S&OP, PFEP, F/G Strategy) implementation and improvement programs for location with full support from division management team. Apply PFEP, Kanban and other lean management tools to build up the capability for supply chain management and ensure optimal level of inventory at plant.
• Ensure production planning and scheduling efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead Inventory Management Improvement Program to prepare inventory forecast and drive improvement for forecast accuracy. Review inventory aging stock, define and implement actions to reduce aging and slow moving inventory with location supply chain teams. Support regular cycle count at plant to maximize inventory accuracy and minimize disruption for operations and delivery to customers.
• Lead program on implementation and improvement of Demand Planning Management System and ERP / MRP system as the common platform for location. Promote and enforce continuous improvement for the programs.
• Support Sourcing team to pursue supplier on time delivery; Coordinate with sourcing team on supplier lead time reduction programs like VMI hub and JIT.
• Lead Logistics management improvement for locations and ensure Import and Export Control is in compliance with local authorities, business and company Trade Compliance requirement for location. Lead continuous improvement for logistics management on cost reduction and process improvement in all areas.
• Use Supply Chain Team Improvement Board to track SCM team performance. Lead and drive continuous improvement for all SCM related processes and systems for location.
• Support Win Strategy related deployment for location (AIP for demand & capacity planning, Customer Experience, OTR / OTP, SCM Improvement HPT, etc.).
• Maintain the key customers and approved
• Coach and develop location SCM team competency in all areas for Supply Chain Management. Develop people to meet business growth and people development requirement for the future.
