PARADIGM AEROSPACE SDN. BHD. seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain activities in a manufacturing setting in Malaysia. The role focuses on subcon planning, procurement, supplier management and logistics to support uninterrupted production.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with 8+ years in supply chain and at least 5 years in leadership. Strong ERP/MRP knowledge, negotiation and analytical skills are essential.
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations. The successful candidate will oversee subcon planning, procurement & sourcing, supplier management, inventory control and logistics to ensure uninterrupted production and timely delivery to customers.
This is a key management role that requires strong commercial awareness, analytical skills and the ability to work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Finance and other departments.
Key responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end supply chain activities, including subcon planning, procurement & sourcing, material control, inventory and logistics.
Develop effective material control strategies to ensure timely availability of materials and components for production.
Monitor material requirements, inventory levels, lead times and potential shortages.
Manage supplier performance in terms of cost, quality, delivery and responsiveness.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and overseas suppliers.
Lead sourcing, supplier evaluation, negotiation and cost reduction initiatives.
Monitor and approve purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials according to production requirements.
Optimize inventory levels and minimize excess, obsolete and slow-moving stock.
Coordinate with Warehouse and Logistics teams to ensure efficient inbound and outbound deliveries.
Identify supply chain risks and develop appropriate contingency plans.
Work closely with Production, Planning, Engineering and Quality teams to resolve material and supplier issues.
Establish and monitor supply chain KPIs, including supplier OTD, material availability, inventory accuracy, inventory turnover and cost savings.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements and applicable regulatory requirements.
About you
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement & sourcing, Subcon planning, purchasing or logistics.
At least 5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
Strong experience in manufacturing / engineering environment.
Experience managing local and international suppliers.
Strong knowledge of MRP, subcon planning, procurement, sourcing and inventory management.
Experience using ERP / MRP systems.
Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and team management capability.
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) standards and supplier compliance requirements will be an added advantage.
