Job summary

PERSOL Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Supply Chain Manager to lead the supplier chain management team, oversee warehousing, purchasing, CS and logistics, and drive cost-saving policies.

You will organize production, material, and shipment plans, monitor progress, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining FIFO inventory accuracy and strong vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business).
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Experience with inventory control and ERP systems.

Job description

Manage whole supplier chain management team and assign the jobs for team members

Control the cost of warehouse, purchasing, CS and logistics Make policy in different period for lowering the inventory lev Regular review for material status and analyze the high stock level reason

Organize and control the production plan, material plan, shipment plan, etc., and monitor the process to ensure that all work is completed as planned.

Supervise and guide the work of warehouse, ensure the inventory data is accurate, in and out of the warehouse on time according to FIFO principle.

To provide support to the sales team and ensure deliveries are met.

To process customer orders, forms, applications and request as well as maintain good rapport

In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and follow up on purchase orders delivery and shipment schedule.

Collaborate with manufacturing / cross-functional resources to meet customer's expectation

Follow up with customs department, freight forwarders for incoming / outgoing shipments).

Obtains and maintains proper balance between dollar inventory, turnover and out-of-stock conditions on assigned items, analyzing and recommending solutions for inventory problems

Be responsible for guiding, managing and supervising the business work of subordinates, improving the quality of work and service attitude, and doing a good job in the performance assessment and rewards and punishments of subordinates.

Formulate and supervise various KPI indicators of the department, analyze and improve the completion of relevant KPI indicators, and strive to achieve the goals.

Be responsible for organizing the formulation of relevant training plans and materials for the department, and supervise the implementation of relevant training.
