We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager, Supply Chain Management to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations supporting our equipment integration business.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain lifecycle from strategic sourcing and procurement of materials to inventory management and on-time product delivery. Working closely with Program Management, Operations, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams, you will drive operational excellence, enhance supply chain efficiency, mitigate risks, and ensure cost-effective, high-quality, and timely execution to support business growth.
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the organization's objectives and goals, focusing on equipment integration business with good business acumen, customers and result orientation.
Identify and onboard reliable suppliers, negotiating terms and agreements to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards. Establish strong relationships with vendors and monitor their performance, addressing any issues that may arise. Maintain a supplier performance in deliveries, quality, price and responsiveness.
Manage procurement processes, ensuring timely acquisition of raw materials, components, and equipment required for manufacturing with good OTD. Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet demands. Ownership of KPI to meet targets in inventory turn and material clean to build.
Ensure good collaborations and work closely with program, operations and relevant management teams for the related supply chain matters proactively and in timely manner.
Lead, monitor, and analyse inventory levels, identifying and driving slow-moving and, excess & obsolescence stock and meeting the targets continuously.
Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards. Implement best practices, technological solutions, and automation where applicable.
Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions. Stay informed about market trends and regulatory changes that could impact the supply chain; And align with program and operations management teams to mitigate the risks.
Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to enhance their skills and performance towards company strategies and goals.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related discipline), Business Administration (Supply Chain Management or equivalent), or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of progressive supply chain management experience within a manufacturing environment.
At least 3 years of experience working in a program or project-driven manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, supplier management, production planning, and logistics.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or equivalent enterprise systems.
Technical knowledge in mechanical engineering, equipment integration, manufacturing, or electrical engineering will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with Rapid Response (RR), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and e-Procurement platforms is preferred.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance customer expectations, operational requirements, and business objectives.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Highly organized with strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Adaptable, proactive, and results-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and effectively manage change.
