Job summary

Nolato (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a results-driven Supply Chain Manager in Penang to lead Planning, Purchasing, Inventory and Logistics.

You will ensure materials are available to support production, monitor production plans and delivery schedules, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain. This role requires a degree in a related field, 8+ years in supply chain/manufacturing and 5+ years in people management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering or related field
• Minimum 8 years' experience in Supply Chain / Manufacturing
• Minimum 5 years' management experience
• Strong knowledge of Planning, MRP, Purchasing, Inventory and Logistics
• Good leadership, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred
• Knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485 and IATF 16949

Responsibilities

• Manage overall Supply Chain activities including Planning, Purchasing, Inventory and Logistics.
• Ensure sufficient materials are available to support production.
• Monitor production plans, customer orders and delivery schedules.
• Manage suppliers and monitor cost, quality and delivery performance.
• Control inventory and reduce excess / obsolete stock.
• Ensure on-time delivery to customers.
• Support new projects, NPI and new plant ramp-up.
• Lead and develop the SCM team.
• Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Sales and Finance.
