Job summary

MOG GROUP OF COMPANIES is offering a Supply Chain Internship in Malaysia, focusing on hands-on merchandising activities across stores. You will analyze sales data, monitor inventory, and assist with replenishment planning while gaining exposure to visual merchandising and in-store campaigns.

You will work closely with Operations, Marketing, Purchasing, and Retail teams, learning to prepare reports and support daily merchandising tasks.

Job description

Kick-start your career in retail merchandising with one of Malaysia's leading optical retail groups! As a Supply Chain Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience in merchandise planning, inventory management, sales analysis, visual merchandising, and marketing campaigns. This internship offers valuable exposure to the retail industry while working alongside experienced merchandising professionals.

What You'll Be Doing

Assist in analyzing sales performance, product trends, and business reports.

Monitor stock levels and support inventory planning across retail outlets.

Track fast-selling and slow-moving products and assist in replenishment planning.

Support visual merchandising (VM) execution to ensure stores comply with brand standards.

Assist in coordinating promotional campaigns, product launches, and in-store marketing activities.

Prepare sales, inventory, and merchandising reports using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

Coordinate product samples, photoshoots, and merchandising materials.

Work closely with Operations, Marketing, Purchasing, and Retail teams to support daily merchandising activities.

Assist with administrative tasks, including invoice verification, data entry, and documentation.

Contribute ideas to improve sales performance, customer experience, and merchandising effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in:

Retail Management

Business Administration

Supply Chain Management

Or any related field

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.

Proactive, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
