Job summary

Lee’s Fandbee Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Supply Chain Executive in Malaysia to oversee the seamless flow of goods, manage POs, permits, and shipping documentation, and optimize inventory for local and export operations.

You will collaborate with suppliers, forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries while leveraging ERP systems and AI tools to drive efficiency and cost savings.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in the importation process.
• Ability to outperform on all tasks and responsibilities.

• Ensure that KPI and all tasks assigned and deliverables are completed as per the timeline.
• Willing to travel outstation and overseas as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all incoming shipments and ensure timely arrivals to maintain optimum stock levels.
• Prepare PO, import/export permits, and insurance for shipments.
• Check shipping documents (Invoice, B/L, Seaway Bill, Health/Halal COF, Origin, Packing List).
• Verify shipments with duties and update shipment schedule regularly.
• Liaise with suppliers, liners, forwarders, warehouse, and internal teams to meet schedules.
• Address issues with shipments with relevant parties.
• Minimize Demurrage and Detention costs.
• Prepare and renew import approvals for products.
• Coordinate with product and finance teams on shipping matters.
• Send pre-alerts for urgent shipments.

As a Supply Chain Executive, you’ll ensure the seamless flow of goods to support Lee’s mission of food equality, enabling millions to access affordable, quality food across Southeast Asia. By managing purchase orders, coordinating logistics, and optimizing inventory, you’ll drive operational efficiency. Leveraging tools like ERP systems and artificial intelligence, you’ll collaborate with forwarders, warehouse teams, and internal departments to maintain a robust supply chain, supporting both local and export operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• To monitor all incoming shipments and ensure the shipments arrive within the agreed time to maintain an optimum stock level.
• To prepare the PO, import permit, export permit, and apply insurance for the shipment.
• To check on shipping documentation (Invoice, Bill of lading, Seaway Bill, Health Certificate, Halal Certificate, Certificate of Origin, Packing List).
• To check and verify the shipment with duties.
• To ensure the shipment schedule is updated constantly.
• To follow up closely with Supplier, Shipping Liner Company, Freight Forwarder, Warehouse, and internal parties to ensure shipment are arrive as per schedule and in the best interest of the company.
• To liaise with all relevant parties for any issues incurred on the shipment.
• To ensure the cost of Demurrage and Detention is at the lowest possible.
• To prepare and renew the letter of approval for the importation of products.
• To liaise with the product team and the finance team and follow up on matters pertaining to shipping.
• To send a pre-alert for urgent incoming and outgoing shipments to concern party.
• Manage proper filling, documentation and reporting.
• Any other ad-hoc assignment as assigned by the management.
