Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a proactive purchaser to manage the full cycle of purchase orders, from requisition through supplier selection, issuance and delivery tracking, ensuring on-time delivery. You will prepare and update purchasing and stock reports, coordinate documentations such as HS codes and bills of lading, and liaise with sales and suppliers to align deliveries with customer demand.

• Bachelor's degree required in any field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in purchasing/logistics.
• Fluent in English and Chinese to support China operations.
• Strong negotiation, cost analysis and pricing skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update Purchasing report regularly.
• Manage full cycle of purchase orders from requisition to supplier selection and delivery tracking.
• Prepare and send Purchasing Outstanding Report as scheduled.
• Prepare Monthly Stock Replenishment Report.
• Handle documentation: customs declarations, invoices, packing lists, HS Codes, bills of lading, origin certificates.
• Coordinate deliveries with suppliers and liaise with Sales for delivery planning.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods to customers.
• Provide quality customer service under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Prepare and update the Purchasing report from time to time.

Manage and execute the full cycle of purchase orders—from requisition to supplier selection, issuance, and delivery tracking.

Prepare and send out the Purchasing Outstanding Report per schedule.

Prepare the Monthly Stock Replenishment Report.

Prepare, verify and process all necessary documentation, such as customs declarations, invoices, packing list, HS Codes, bills of lading and certificate of origin.

Overall responsibility for planning and supporting the execution of company’s deliveries

Act as primary point for all deliveries related matter

Liaise with supplier for cargo readiness, arrange shipment/delivery schedule;

Liaise well with sales team to effectively plan out the deliveries

To ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods to customer

Proactive in providing quality customer service and able to handle pressure in a fast pace environment.

Liaise with all relevant parties for proper documentation and arrangement of shipments and to report any irregularities

To perform any other duties that may be assigned by immediate superior or the Management from time to time as deemed necessary.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in any field.

Required language(s): Chinese (To support Daily Operation with China Branch) & English.

At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Required Skill(s): Negotiation, communication, cost analysis, pricing.

Able to take pressure and meet deadline.
