Jora Malaysia is seeking a Supply Chain Executive to support procurement, inventory planning and coordination to ensure timely product availability and smooth daily operations.
The role involves processing POs, supplier follow-ups, inventory replenishment, import coordination and collaborating with Sales, Finance and Customer Service to resolve supply challenges.

Reports to: Procurement Manager / General Manager
This Supply Chain Executive supports procurement, inventory planning and supply coordination to ensure timely product availability and smooth daily operations.
Process purchase orders for local and overseas suppliers accurately and on time.
Follow up with suppliers on pricing, order confirmation, production status and delivery schedules.
Maintain good working relationships with suppliers and address order-related issues promptly.
Assist in sourcing alternative suppliers and obtaining quotations when required.
Monitor inventory levels and prepare replenishment orders based on sales demand, stock availability and lead times.
Coordinate with Sales and Category teams on forecasts, promotions and new product requirements.
Identify potential stock shortages, overstock and slow-moving items for timely action.
Support the management of short-dated and ageing inventory.
Coordinate overseas shipments and monitor shipment schedules.
Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents and relevant internal departments.
Ensure shipping and import documents are complete and accurate.
Provide regular updates on incoming shipments and potential delays.
Work closely with Sales, Finance, Warehouse, Logistics and Customer Service teams to support smooth supply chain operations.
Coordinate with Finance on supplier payments and related documentation.
Communicate stock availability, incoming shipment status and supply issues to relevant stakeholders.
Assist in resolving supply and delivery issues promptly.
Prepare reports on purchasing, inventory levels, stock ageing and incoming shipments.
Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information and supporting documents.
Update purchasing and inventory information in the ERP system.
Support supply chain process improvements and other related duties assigned by management.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics or a related field.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain, including supervisory or managerial experience.
Experience in food distribution, FMCG, wholesale, retail or a related industry is preferred.
Good knowledge of procurement, demand planning, inventory management and import processes.
Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP or inventory management systems. (eg. SAP)
Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Able to work independently, manage competing priorities and respond effectively to supply challenges.
