Job summary

ZALORA Group is seeking a data analyst for its regional Operations role in Malaysia. You will support data analysis and process improvements to drive supply chain excellence, with exposure to large datasets and cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.

The role emphasizes MySQL, Google BigQuery, Looker Studio, Excel, and automation tools to derive actionable insights and optimize processes across regional operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering or other quantitative fields.
• 0–3 years in a business analyst or process improvement role in ecommerce, manufacturing, logistics, or consulting.
• Experience with MySQL, Google BigQuery, Looker Studio and Excel.
• Experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n or Google Apps Script.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to map processes using flowcharts.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the supply chain processes and large operational datasets to gather process insights and propose process improvement ideas
• Support system enhancement and process improvement projects related to Malaysia Customs compliance
• Build and maintain reporting solutions and dashboards to monitor supply chain performance
• Use MySQL, Google BigQuery, Looker Studio, Excel and other analytical tools to extract, clean, analyze, and present insights from data
• Identify and implement process automation opportunities
