Job summary

Muchico Bakery Sdn Bhd (MUCHICO) invites applications for a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations in Batu Pahat, Johor. The role requires ensuring SOPs are followed, maintaining product quality, and supervising a production team for efficiency.

The candidate should have a Diploma in Food Technology with at least 2 years in F&B/FMCG manufacturing, knowledge of GMP and food safety standards, and be able to work on rotation shifts (7am–7pm, 7pm–7am).

Qualifications

• Diploma in Food Technology or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing operations in F&B or FMCG.
• Knowledge and experience in GMP and food safety standards procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily production activities to ensure SOPs and work instructions are followed and quality standards met.
• Supervise and motivate production workers to improve line efficiency and reduce wastage.
• Implement food safety controls and GMP practices and maintain cleanliness and housekeeping.

Job description

Coordinate and monitor production daily activities and processes to ensure manufacturing operations run according to the standard operating procedures and work instructions, and meeting the product quality standards.

Supervise and motivate production workers to ensure smooth operations to enhance line efficiency and reduce wastage.

Execute food safety controls and policies as well as GMP practices and maintains the cleanliness and good housekeeping of the working environment.

Ensure the compliance of production workers to the Company’s policies, rules and regulation and conduct counseling and disciplinary action to production workers as and when deemed necessary.

Monitor production machineries performance and report any abnormality to Maintenance team for machinery maintenance or repairing before causing any major disruption to the production.

Prepare and submit forms and records as per requirement on time.

To assist any other duties as and when assigned by superior.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Possess at least Diploma in Food Technology or other related field.

At least 2 years working experience in manufacturing operations in F&B or FMCG industries.

Equivalent qualifications and to have knowledge and experience in GMP and food safety standards procedures.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English

Good discipline and able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Can work onsite in Batu Pahat area.

Able to perform rotation shift work (7am - 7pm and 7pm – 7am).
