Job summary

POSITION SUMMARY

Assist the Asst Store Manager / Store Manager in achieving store sales and other retail metric sales targets and consistently provide customers with the highest level of service.

To provide supervision assistance where and when necessary, in the Store and other work location required by management.

Maintain inventory integrity – minimize stock losses & ensure quarterly, monthly and weekly (and daily if necessary) stock counts / stock take.

Foster a positive, engaging and ethical working environment

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive the Sales

Work to hit individual sales target whilst assisting Asst Store Manager / Store Manager to reach the store sale, budget and target.

Daily, weekly and monthly action plan to deliver the expected sales results

Monitors sales through the cash register; resolves discrepancies, prepares, reconciles, and records cash receipts for a deposit, and prepares sales reports

Enhance sales staff accomplishments and competence by planning of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members

To carry out & special task/ ad hoc matters pertaining store/brand operations when required whether it be in special circumstances or not

Take part in any company campaign / marketing as to help create more brand awareness and interest (Chat & Shop)

Achieve High Service Standards

Conduct daily briefings to the floor staff on customer service, month to date sales, grooming and highlights of the day.

Conduct Weekly Huddle to the floor staff on weekly target, weekly staff performance and estimated monthly sales closing.

Keep abreast of product knowledge, sales & customer service whilst providing excellent GUESTS service experience to customers in various platform (online sales / chat & shop)

Provide exemplary customer services to floor staff and ensure customers’ complaints are handled tactfully in a professional manner with proper follow-up. (EASE method)

Always Maintaining and upholding the company’s image as a prestigious and luxurious brand

To comply with Brand standards, and the Code of Business Conduct

Maintain Best Retail Standards

Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures and to ensure the process is in compliance with company SOPs.

Ensure proper care of stocks, fixtures, and furniture within the store and always kept neat and tidy

Review and ensure daily Visual Merchandising standards for both windows and in-store are maintained.

Execute monthly Visual Merchandising floor set updates in-store.

Be vigilant and practice regular checks on staff movements during operating hours

Enforce and effectively communicate all key directives as per the company Standard Operations Procedures Deck.

Responsible to perform and supervise housekeeping duties. These duties include Sanitization, sweeping, mopping also ensuring the store safety condition as determine company policy.

Responsible for other duties as assigned by the management on an ad-hoc basis

Inventory Integrity

Working together with Assistant Store Manager/Store Manager to maintain a healthy inventory while minimizing the possibility of stock shrinkages as per guidelines listed in the Company Store Operations Procedures Deck

Conduct daily, weekly & monthly stock count with the floor staff.

Resolve discrepancies within 48 hours and report all findings to Asst Store Manager / Store Managers

Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers by reporting to manager

Monitor and coordinate receiving of merchandise and price tagging according to operation procedures

Responsible for caring of company equipment

Leadership

Assist the Assistant Store Manager / Store Manager in monitoring staff tardiness record on a regular basis

Assist Assistant Store Manager / Store Manager in monitoring staff performance on a regular basis and identify areas for training where necessary

Assists Assistant Store Manager / Store Manager on the job trainings to floor staff and give proper product trainings/knowledge and provide GUESTS Service training to the staff

Allocates and schedules work within the floor areas, ensuring that all floor requirements are covered during operating hours by using daily planner.

To oversee the roster management during the absence of Managers

Reporting

Assist Assistant Store Manager / Store Manager for all banking functions related to the store including making bank in deposits, changing small denomination notes for cash float, petty cash usage & etc.

Assist Assistant Store Manager / Store Manager to ensure all petty cash claims submitted and reimburse within stipulated timeline

Ensure the appropriate daily, weekly and monthly reports submission are delivered on time.

To verify customer data collected (Customer Registration Card) store compilation in database on frequent basis.

Responsible to complete Any Ad-Hoc requests by Asst Store Manager / Store Managers accurately.

Responsible to Complete & Monitor all staff Competency Development Program progression and execution on Mode Friday in the absence of Assistant Store Manager / Store Manager

Responsible to complete Weekly Operation Huddle submission and attend the Ops Huddle in the absence of Assistant Store Manager / Store Manager

To assist on the RAMCO submission is done correctly as per timeline given in the absence of Assistant Store Manager / Store Manager

Personal Development

To support Assistant Store Manager / Store Manager in collating data for all reports pertaining to sales, customer service, inventory control, logistics in timeline given

To complete, pass and monitor all Competency Development Plan (CDP) Progression and Foundational Product Knowledge (FPK) Modules with the agreed timeline

To be certified and competent as On Job Training Instructor (OJTI)

To have and maintain at all times competent product knowledge & GUESTS service standard

To attend and participate in all related training courses conducted internally or externally
