Job summary

Edgenta FIRST Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Facilities Management professional to oversee daily cleaning operations within the building compound. You will supervise staff and vendors, perform quality inspections, and train teams in safety and procedures.

The role requires overseeing equipment, PPE, and supplies, managing inventories, handling complaints, and supporting site safety and emergencies in collaboration with the Facility Manager.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in facilities management or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in cleaning operations or facilities management.
• Experience supervising cleaning staff and managing vendors/contractors.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, PPE, and workplace safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day cleaning operations and ensure proper upkeep of cleaning-related facilities.
• Supervise cleaning vendors and personnel, including attendance, punctuality, uniforms, work standards, and contract compliance.
• Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure services meet schedules, specs, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Provide in-house training to cleaning teams on quality, safety, procedures, and scope of services.
• Ensure cleaning equipment, chemicals, PPE, and supplies are safe and compliant with standards.
• Monitor inventories and stock levels; ensure adequate supplies and proper recording.
• Manage cleaning-related complaints, maintain records, and ensure prompt corrective actions.
• Support vendor management, financial administration, customer communications, compliance, and site safety; assist Facility Manager during emergencies.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Building Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in cleaning operations, building management, facilities management, or site operations.
• Experience in supervising cleaning personnel and managing cleaning vendors or contractors.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, chemicals, PPE, and workplace safety requirements.
