Job summary

Hirehub Group's client, a global packaging manufacturer, operates advanced facilities worldwide and has an established operation in Kulai, Johor. The role oversees maintenance of all production equipment and plant facilities, reporting to the Production Manager.

You will implement preventive maintenance, train staff, troubleshoot downtime, manage spare parts, ensure safety, and commission new machinery, with flexibility to adjust duties as the business evolves.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma in engineering or science, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in plant and machinery maintenance.
• Familiar with plastics injection machine function and mold servicing.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to Production Manager.
• Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of all production equipment and plant facility.
• Plan for regular preventive maintenance program for key equipment.
• Propose and recommend better process flow, production method etc.
• Train the production staff on function and operation of equipment.
• Trouble shooting of faulty machineries to ensure low downtime of all equipment.
• Make recommendations for spare part purchases and maintain right level of spare parts for key items.
• Ensure equipment in safe operational condition.
• Responsible for Commission and set up of all new machinery for the plant.
• Company reserve the right to add substrate change, modify the role as and when the business or organizational needs.
