Job summary

Hirehub Group in Senai, Johor is seeking an experienced Production Lead to supervise end-to-end plastic molding operations. You will plan production, coordinate manpower and machine capacity, and ensure on-time delivery while meeting quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in plastic manufacturing with supervisory experience, strong ERP/MRP skills, and proven leadership and problem-solving abilities to drive continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in plastic manufacturing with supervisory/management roles.
• Strong planning experience: production planning, operation planning, capacity and manpower planning.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems for production planning, inventory, work orders, and monitoring.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end production and daily operations for the plastic molding process.
• Plan and coordinate operation planning, production planning, manpower, machine capacity, and production schedules to meet customer requirements and delivery targets.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards and safety protocols are met.
• Monitor production performance, product quality, machine utilization, manpower efficiency, and safety compliance.
• Analyze and improve production processes for better efficiency and cost control.
• Identify production bottlenecks, reduce downtime and wastage, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support overall operations.
• Monitor operational KPIs, prepare management reports, analyze production issues, and implement effective corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong experience in planning, such as: production planning, operation planning, capacity planning, manpower planning, and production scheduling.
• Good knowledge of ERP/MRP systems for production planning, inventory, work orders, and operational monitoring.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and coordinate effectively across departments.

Salary Range: Up to RM15k
