Job summary

Hirehub Group is seeking an experienced Plant & Machinery Maintenance professional in Kulai, Johor. You will oversee all maintenance activities for production equipment, plan preventive programs, and drive improvements in process flow and production methods.

Key responsibilities include staff training, troubleshooting to minimize downtime, spare parts management, and safe operation of all plant machinery, including setting up new equipment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or science stream or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in plant and machinery maintenance.
• Familiarity with plastics injection machine function and mold servicing.

Responsibilities

• Report to Production Manager.
• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of all production equipment and plant facility.
• Plan regular preventive maintenance programs for key equipment.
• Recommend improvements for process flow and production methods.
• Train production staff on equipment function and operation.
• Troubleshoot faulty machinery to minimize downtime.
• Recommend spare part purchases and manage spare parts inventory.
• Ensure equipment operates safely and is in good condition.
• Commission and set up of all new machinery for the plant.
• Reserve the right to adjust role as business needs evolve.

Job Responsibility

1. Reporting to Production Manager.
2. Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of all production equipment and plant facility.
3. Plan for regular preventive maintenance program for key equipment.
4. Propose and make recommendations for better process flow, production method etc.
5. Train the production staff on function and operation of equipment.
6. Trouble shooting of faulty machineries to ensure low downtime of all equipment.
7. Make recommendations for spare part purchases and maintain right level of spare parts for key items.
8. Ensure equipment in safe operational condition.
9. Responsible for Commission and set up of all new machinery for the plant.
10. Company reserve the right to add substrate change, modify the role as and when the business or organizational needs.

Job Requirement

1. Minimum Diploma in Engineering or science stream background or equivalent.
2. Minimum 5 years' experience in plant and machinery maintenance.
3. Familiar with plastics injection machine function and mold servicing.

Salary Range: RM8k - RM10k
