Job summary

UAC Berhad in Ipoh, Perak, is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across critical plant systems. You will manage CMMS-driven planning, drive KPI tracking, and oversee CAPA investigations to boost equipment reliability.

With a background in production control and logistics, you will coordinate maintenance budgets, procurement, and manpower.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.

• Knowledge of boilers, autoclaves, pressure vessels, electrical systems and utilities.
• Familiarity with safety standards (DOSH, FMA, OSH, ISO, EMS).
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.

Job Requirement

Degree in Mechanical, Maintenance Engineering, or related field.

Must have a background in Production Control and Logistics.

Candidates with relevant working experience in production planning, inventory control, and logistics coordination will be preferred.

Relevant experience in plant maintenance, engineering, equipment reliability, and factory operations.

Strong knowledge of preventive, preventive, and corrective maintenance practices.

Experience using CMMS and managing maintenance KPIs, downtime, and work orders.

Knowledge of boilers, autoclaves, pressure vessels, electrical systems, utilities, and industrial equipment.

Familiarity with DOSH, FMA, OSH, ISO, EMS, and other statutory safety requirements.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, budgeting, and project management skills.

Ability to manage maintenance teams, contractors, procurement, costs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
