Job summary

Nilai Apparel Gift & Souvenir is seeking a passionate Sublimation Graphic Designer Team Leader to guide the design team in creating vibrant, production-ready artwork for sportswear, corporate wear and event apparel. You will review and finalize designs, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with sales to translate client requirements into commercially viable concepts.

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, strong color management, and trend awareness are essential to drive creative

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Sublimation Graphic Design team to ensure high-quality artwork output.
• Review, approve, and finalize artwork before submission to production.
• Develop creative concepts for sportswear, corporate wear, school uniforms, and event apparel.
• Ensure all designs are production-ready (correct sizing, vector format, proper color profile).
• Coordinate closely with the Production team to prevent printing and alignment errors.
• Manage daily task assignments, deadlines, and workflow within the design department.
• Mentor and guide junior designers to improve creativity and technical skills.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to understand client requirements and provide commercially viable design solutions.
• Create professional mockups to support sales presentations and increase closing rates.
• Maintain organized digital file systems and artwork archives for repeat orders.
• Develop and update design templates to improve efficiency and turnaround time.
• Conduct quality control checks on spelling, logo placement, and layout alignment.
• Stay updated on sportswear and sublimation design trends to ensure competitive market positioning.

• Collaboration: They often work closely with manufacturers or printing companies to ensure designs are compatible with the sublimation printing process and achieve the desired results.
• Technical Expertise: Understanding the technical aspects of sublimation printing equipment and how different materials and substrates interact with the printing process.
