Job summary

Ralota Technologies Inc. in Kuala Lumpur is expanding its technical operations team with two live-show support specialists. You will maintain production computers, networks, and AV gear to keep broadcasts running smoothly.

You will work with hosts, producers and creative team, troubleshoot issues, document fixes, and learn live-switching and streaming tools as you progress. A diploma or technical certification is welcome; practical ability matters more.

Qualifications

• Practical computer and networking skills, comfortable setting up and troubleshooting Windows computers, peripherals and wired or wireless connections.
• Understanding of basic IP addressing, DHCP and DNS.
• Clear, logical troubleshooting process with documentation of steps and outcomes.
• Evidence of hands-on IT support, equipment repairs, network installations, AV or event work or substantial personal projects.

About you

A logical troubleshooting process: check symptoms, narrow down possible causes, test your explanation and confirm that the problem is actually resolved

Evidence of learning by doing from IT support, equipment repairs, network installations, AV or event work, internships, or substantial personal projects such as PC builds and home servers

Clear communication and dependable work habits

Ability to explain a technical issue in English

Ability to follow through on unresolved problems and keep useful notes

Ability to work scheduled shifts at Kuala Lumpur studio

A relevant diploma, degree or technical certification is welcome, but practical ability matters more than qualifications
