Job summary

Astro Malaysia, All Asia Broadcast Centre, is seeking a Senior Associate in Broadcast Engineering Support to lead the development, upgrades and delivery of Broadcast & OTT systems across on‑premise and cloud environments. The role involves system integration with third‑party tools (CMS, DRM, headend), and creating design specs and scripts to close deployment gaps.

The candidate should have 3–5 years in IT/Broadcast with leadership experience, strong Windows Server/AD, SQL, Linux skills, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in relevant IT/telecom fields
• 3–5 years IT/Broadcast experience with leadership role
• Hands-on experience in Windows Servers, AD, DNS, DHCP, MS SQL, and Linux
• Knowledge of SQL scripting and API testing (Postman & SoapUI)
• Experience in TV Broadcast, IPTV, OTT or Digital Media hosting is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop, upgrade, and deliver complex Broadcast & OTT Systems on‑premise and cloud
• Integrate with third‑party systems (CMS, DRM, playout, Headend)
• Draft technical design specs and implement scripts/coding to address deployment gaps
