International School seeks a bilingual Arabic-speaking coordinator to act as the main contact for Arabic-speaking clients and parents. You will translate, interpret, and manage communications across emails, documents, and WhatsApp, ensuring timely visa processing and MOE documentation.
Responsibilities include handling student applications, visa paperwork, ERP updates, and daily Visa Counter duties. Strong English, Malay advantages, and at least two years in a related role are preferred.
1. Serve as the primary point of contact for Arabic-speaking clients, customers, or parents, responding to inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
2. Translate and facilitate communication through emails, documents, Visa-related materials, phone calls, and WhatsApp messages from Arabic to English and vice versa.
3. Conduct verbal interpretation during meetings, presentations, or phone calls, ensuring effective communication between parties from Arabic to English and vice versa.
4. Clear and respond to all incoming messages in the official Visa WhatsApp number daily to ensure timely communication with parents and clients.
5. Handling new student applications and handle all required documentation for the purpose of processing and obtaining Ministry of Education (MOE) approval.
6. In-charge of Receiving all applications are such; New Visa Application for Student. Renew Visa Application for Student. Special Application for Student. Shorten for Student. Transfer Endorsement for Student. Updated students visa in ERP system. (for Student)
7. Completed documents for Visa application listed, to hand over to Visa Coordinator (Students) & Visa Coordinator (Student) within 1day from the completion date.
8. Handle and control correspondence with Parents for each of on-going progress until visa done, and to deal with parents for the action needed from them such; To furnish the fee payment. To bring additional documents when requested by J.I.M (certain case). * To complete the documents (for certain special case), late comer, etc.
9. To receive and completed the documents for Student’s Visa Application while student already have visa and still await.
10. In-charge related in-hand application has been received about the Student status to update in Daily reports.
11. To take care the appearance of visa counter, presentation and etc. (related to image & look of the visa counter).
12. Any related task to the visa department when needed.
