Job summary

Heriot-Watt University Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Putrajaya seeks a legal assistant to support the HOD in drafting templated documents and conducting legal research to support university operations.

You will liaise with outsourced DPOs, assist with risk management activities, maintain legal folders, and guide internal stakeholders under supervision. The role suits a Law student pursuing LLB/Jurisprudence with strong MS Office skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist HOD in reviewing/drafting templated documents (MOUs, NDAs, LOEs, T&Cs).
• Conduct legal research and analysis relevant to university business.
• Coordinate engagement with outsourced DPO and risk management activities.
• Support internal stakeholders under HOD supervision.
• Maintain legal folders and databases.
