About you
The Strategy Planning Intern supports the GOC KL leadership team in strategic planning, performance tracking, and data-driven decision-making. The role provides hands‑on exposure to real-world business planning within a global SaaS environment, while contributing directly to operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, governance, and financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Strategic planning assistance - Support development of strategic plans, quarterly priorities, and roadmaps.
- Management reporting - Prepare management decks, updates, and initiative trackers.
- Data analysis - Analyse operational and financial data for trends and insights.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Dashboard maintenance - Maintain KPI, project, and utilisation dashboards.
- Reporting cycles - Support monthly and quarterly reporting activities.
- Data quality - Ensure accuracy and consistency of leadership reporting.
Financial & Operational Analysis
- Cost & budget analysis - Track costs, budgets, and variances.
- Procurement support - Prepare procurement documentation and validations.
- Vendor review - Review vendor quotes and financial projections.
Project Coordination
- Project tracking - Assist with scheduling and progress tracking.
- Risk & action management - Maintain risk registers and action logs.
- Stakeholder coordination - Follow up with cross‑functional teams.
Elevate workshop management
- Workshop planning - Support quarterly Elevate workshop planning and delivery.
- Action tracking - Track outcomes and progress post workshop.
- Implementation support - Assist execution of agreed initiatives.
Workforce planning support
- Support capacity and workforce planning analysis.
- Assist internship and Graduate Academy initiatives.
- Track workforce and recruitment metrics.
Documentation & Process Support
- Document insights, risks, and recommendations.
- Support audits and improvement initiatives.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and basic data tools
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Willingness to learn in a fast‑paced global SaaS environment
