Job summary

MR D.I.Y. looks for a strategic planning professional to support growth initiatives across existing businesses and international expansion. The role emphasizes planning, analysis, and coordinating across functions and geographies to drive value.

The candidate will build financial models, identify growth opportunities, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely market entry and project delivery. This is a high-impact, cross-border role within the group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field.
• Relevant experience in management consulting, strategy, business planning, corporate finance, research, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, numerical, commercial and execution skills.
• Demonstrates critical and strategic thinking; entrepreneurial mindset is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel), Bloomberg, Capital IQ and related tools.

• Support in the management of portfolio of investee companies to deliver deal value.
• Support the development of thought leadership and market intelligence for the Group via targeted research.
• Build financial models and provide financial analysis for business case simulations, project economics and funding plans.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives and ensure successful new market setup and activation.
• Coordinate and follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met.
• To support ad-hoc special projects by top management / other departments as required

• Support to launch, iterate and scale new concepts/revenue streams or growth projects.
• Support in the identification of strategic issues and opportunities that could influence business growth and profitability.
• Support in the management of portfolio of investee companies to deliver deal value.
• Support the development of thought leadership and market intelligence for the Group via targeted research on industries, markets, customer segments, competitors, and regulatory landscapes.
• Build financial models and provide financial analysis for business case simulations, project economics, funding plan and perform sensitivity analyses to highlight key risks.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives and ensure successful new market setup and activation.
• Coordinate and follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that project timelines are met.
• To support ad-hoc special projects by top management / other departments as and when required

Requirements

Job Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
