Job summary

Hershey Company in Malaysia, Johor is seeking an experienced Operation Planner to develop and implement production plans and inventory strategies to support service goals and company financial targets.

You will balance plant optimization with customer service, work with Manufacturing Manager, Maintenance, QA, Engineering, and Material Control, and lead detailed scheduling and capacity analysis to ensure on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Business, logistics emphasis.
• 3–5 years in supply chain with production planning/scheduling and materials management.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to work in a team.
• Self-motivated with ability to prioritize multiple changing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate detailed production schedules to support master plans.
• Coordinate product supply and evaluate capacity to meet demand.
• Manage finished goods inventories and optimize inventory turns.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Manager, Maintenance, QA, Engineering, HR, and Material Control.
• Lead cross-functional planning and drive continuous improvement.
