Job summary

YHI Manufacturing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Planner to assist in creating production schedules based on demand forecasts and to monitor inventory levels. You will liaise with procurement to secure materials, verify stock accuracy, and support on-time delivery while maintaining efficient operations.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing production schedules and timelines based on demand forecasts.
• Monitor inventory levels and liaise with the procurement team to ensure materials are available for production.
• Check stock at the store to ensure physical stock matches system records and report discrepancies.
• Support coordination of production activities to meet deadlines and maintain operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the production team to track progress and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues.
• Update and maintain production records, including logs, reports, and relevant systems.
• Assist the production planner in analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement.
• Help coordinate the flow of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods across the production floor.
• Work with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to ensure product delivery timelines are met.
• Provide administrative support to the production planning department as needed.
