• Minimize pallet transfers through lead-time planning for orders.
• Tracking production volume and monitoring demand patterns and purchasing trends.
• Arrange monthly sales forecast meetings and SLOB reviews.
• Minimize obsolete stock and ensure minimal liabilities.
• Understand and manage risks to minimize impact on production schedule and planned downtime.
• Utilize ERP or IT systems and ensure data accuracy and timely resolution of issues.
• Consolidate data to create demand plans based on historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, and inventory targets.
• Based on sales demand translate into final demand plans for capacity, production, and inventory planning.
• Monthly provide overall capacity plan to SCM for review.
• Implement cost control in energy and overtime during production planning.
• Lead daily activities and training for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with relevant departments in production planning.
• Ensure procurement activities follow documented procedures and data is gathered before purchases.
• Liaise with external providers on pricing, delivery and terms; conduct negotiations professionally.
• Maintain confidential supplier data and privacy.
• Analyze procurement activities and recommend improvement plans.
• Coordinate external provider evaluations and improvements.
• Ad-hoc tasks as needed.
