Sentronics Precision Industry (M) Sdn Bhd seeks a proactive procurement specialist to lead BOM material sourcing and cost-down initiatives at our Malaysia plant. You will manage supplier negotiations, cost analyses, and cross-functional collaboration to secure quality materials on schedule.

The role emphasizes RFQ familiarity, machining cost structures, and maintaining an organized supplier network in Malaysia.

Qualifikationen

• Familiar with RFQ, price comparison, and negotiation processes.
• Solid knowledge of machining processes including turning, CNC, and surface treatment costs.
• Capable of independent cost analysis.
• Existing supplier network in Malaysia is a strong plus.
• Strong cost awareness and time management skills.
• Well-organized with good working habits.
• Able to work under pressure and result-oriented.
• OT may be required occasionally.
• English and Mandarin language skills preferred for Mandarin-speaking clients.

Aufgaben

• Manage BOM material sourcing and development for the Malaysia plant
• Identify and develop new suppliers and organize cross-functional teams for on-site supplier audits and evaluations
• Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers (price, lead time, payment terms, after-sales service, etc.)
• Conduct material cost analysis and drive cost-down initiatives
• Manage projects including sample follow-up, qualification progress, and engineering change requests
• Coordinate internal and external communication for issue resolution
• Perform other tasks assigned by department leadership
