Job summary

ASE Semiconductor (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. seeks a seasoned Procurement Lead to own end-to-end sourcing, supplier management, and contract governance for key commodities within our Penang operations.

You will drive cost reduction, manage POs, negotiate contracts, and align with Legal, Finance, and Engineering to secure timely, quality materials in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing procurement and strong ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of procurement or purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing both local and international suppliers.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract management skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end sourcing, procurement, and supplier management for assigned commodities.
• Deliver cost optimization and on-time delivery of materials and services.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery.
• Issue and manage purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, lead times, and terms.
• Draft, review, and execute supplier contracts with Legal and Finance.
• Monitor contract performance, expiry, renewal timelines, and amendments.
• Track supplier performance and drive corrective actions.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance requirements.
