Spectrum Materials Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Procurement Executive to support timely material sourcing and cost control. The role involves supplier negotiations, coordination of orders, and maintaining supplier performance records.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in procurement within manufacturing, with a strong grasp of purchasing terms, and English plus Bahasa Malaysia fluency. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, and ISO 9001 knowledge is a plus.

Qualificações

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain or equivalent job experience.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience in the Procurement department within manufacturing industrial gas or a similar industry.
• Basic or Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Suite (Ms Word, Ms PowerPoint, Ms Excel and etc.)
• Good knowledge of relevant purchasing terms, conditions, practices and procedures.
• Understanding of basic chemical, mechanical and ISO 9001 knowledge.
• Hands-on experience in the Procurement management and improvement process.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Assist superiors in ensuring timely supply of raw materials and controlling procurement costs.
• Conduct supplier price inquiries, price comparisons, and negotiations based on requisitions.
• Coordinate and handle suppliers' orders, delivery dates, and quality issues.
• Propose inventory varieties and optimal product inventory plans, and implement them.
• Contact suppliers based on quality reports to determine return method and timing.
• Make claims for losses caused by supplier quality issues or delays.
• Conduct monthly audits to assess supplier capacity and quality and record findings.
• Participate in supplier reviews and strengthen supplier daily management.
• Receive and negotiate during supplier visits.
• Assist in establishing and improving the company's supply management system.
• Assist in formulating supply management plans aligned with development strategy.
• Help establish supply management systems in the organization.
• Help formulate supplier certification and assessment standards.
• Complete other ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors.
• Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
