FedEx is seeking a Sourcing & Procurement Specialist to lead strategic sourcing and category management initiatives across HR Services and other complex service-based categories. You will manage the end-to-end sourcing process from spend analysis to supplier performance management, partnering with HR, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders.

The role requires 2–3 years in strategic sourcing, strong negotiation, and TCO knowledge, with proficiency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

2–3 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management.
Experience managing HR Services, indirect, or complex service-based categories.
Strong experience in market intelligence, supplier analysis, TCO, strategic sourcing, and negotiation.
Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable commercial or non-price value from sourcing initiatives.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience managing supplier relationships, performance, and commercial agreements.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
Proficiency in English and Chinese; multilingual skills are a plus.
APAC experience is a plus; knowledge of labor laws and contingent labor programs advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic sourcing and category management activities, incl. spend analysis, market assessments, benchmarking, supplier evaluations, and category strategies.
Develop category expertise, market intelligence, and supplier networks to support objectives.
Identify, evaluate, qualify, and select suppliers via research, tenders, and due diligence.
Lead supplier negotiations, contracts, and reviews to secure favorable terms.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; manage communications and performance issues.
Analyze pricing proposals, cost structures, and total cost of ownership.
Monitor supplier performance against KPIs, assess risk, and implement mitigations.
Lead cross-functional projects with Finance, Legal, and leadership.
Drive procurement process improvements using tools, systems, and analytics.
Perform other duties as assigned.
