Job summary

Tractors Malaysia is seeking a procurement professional to manage tender and proposal activities, perform quotation and costing for parts sales, and collaborate with sales to meet customer requirements.

You will raise customer registrations and credit limits in AX, monitor deliverables to principals, and support invoicing in Esker and Rapid4. Strong English communication and independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience in tender and proposal preparation.
• Minimum 3 years experience in procurement, including supplier sourcing, quotation evaluation, and negotiation.
• Ability to learn concepts and technical details of complex systems.
• Ability to work independently, accepting ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Pro-active and self-motivated team player with strong engineering judgment skills.
• Able to work well in a high pressure environment with continuous changes.
• Creativity and strong analytical skills to solve complex technical challenges with innovative solutions.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken, strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform quotation and costing preparation for parts sales.
• Collaborate with sales teams in the preparation of quotations and costing solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Raise request to CA team for customer registration and credit limit application to ensure smooth project creation in AX.
• Monitor deliverables to principals are met and assist team to contribute to the targets given.
• Review PR submission by team and follow company’s guideline while liaising with Business Operations team.
• Create PO in system and perform receiving on items has arrived.
• Assist vendor for OVR creation and guide them for invoicing in Esker.
• Assist principal for invoice submission in Esker and Rapid4 system.
• Monitor team’s invoicing status and assist Head to meet monthly commitment to management.
• Assist team for CAPEX purchase and non-trade purchase.
