Job summary

Terberg Tractors Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Procurement Executive (Strategic Procurement) to expand their career beyond transactional purchasing.

You will engage in strategic sourcing, supplier management, tenders, and contract administration while collaborating with experienced procurement professionals. The role develops skills in supplier evaluation, governance, and cost optimisation, with mentorship and structured learning in a global industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Sourcing, Buyer, or Supply Chain.
• Manufacturing industry experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing activities and supplier selection processes.
• Obtain quotations, perform commercial evaluations, and conduct price comparisons.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support business requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery commitments, and service levels.
• Support tender exercises, contractor pre-qualification activities, and procurement documentation.
• Assist in contract administration, supplier agreements, and procurement governance matters.
• Participate in cost optimisation, sourcing improvement, and supplier development initiatives.
• Support supplier evaluation, risk assessment, and compliance activities.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and quality requirements.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
