Job summary

Hirehub Group is seeking a Sales Engineer (Injection Molding Machine) in Malaysia, Johor, Kulai to promote injection molding machines and related automation solutions and to develop new business in plastics, automotive, electronics, packaging, medical, and consumer goods.

You will manage the full sales cycle, maintain long-term customer relationships, coordinate with engineering and service teams for smooth delivery, and travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• Strong, proven B2B industrial equipment sales experience.
• Ability to travel frequently for customer visits and business development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for injection molding machines and automation solutions.
• Identify and develop new opportunities in plastics, automotive, electronics, packaging, medical, and consumer goods.
• Manage full sales cycle: lead generation, visits, technical discussions, quotations, negotiation, and closing.
• Maintain long-term relationships with customers, distributors, and partners.
• Provide technical consultation and recommend machine specs based on customer needs.
• Coordinate with engineering, service, and applications teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and market updates for management.
• Represent the company at industry events to boost branding and market presence.
• Support after-sales communications and assist with technical or commercial issues when needed.
