JOINTHIRE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. in Malaysia seeks a Junior/Molding Engineer to design and manufacture plastic injection molds and parts.

You will lead design discussions, verify changes, and ensure products comply with specs while driving cycle-time improvements on the production floor. The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 1–3 years' related experience, with hands-on molding knowledge and project management skills.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of related work experience.
• Strong knowledge of Plastic Injection Molding and Mold design.
• Experience in Project Management and on the production floor.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct design meetings for new items and design changes with HQ as needed.
• Verify designs and sample quality before customer delivery, including reports.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications and improve process cycle times.
• Support Purchasing with parts localization and collaborate on Kaizen activities.
• Liaise with suppliers for parts approval and develop assembly processes and work instructions.
• Participate in APQP, FMEA, and PPAP for new product/process development.
• Lead improvement projects to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
