B. Braun Medical Industries in Penang is seeking a Staff Engineer for Plastic Injection Molding Project Engineering. You will lead end-to-end projects from concept through ramp-up, ensuring capital investments and costs are controlled.

You will collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Engineering to drive manufacturability and quality across sites. The role requires deep mold & tooling knowledge, DOE/ SPC, and experience with automated molding cells.

Qualifications

• End-to-end leadership of complex PIM new-product introduction and industrialization projects.
• Experience in injection-molding equipment and automation.
• Strong validation capability and ISO 13485/ISO 9001 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely and task-oriented processing of projects focusing on capital investment and production costs.
• Provide leadership to a team of project managers in equipment projects.
• Develop technology roadmaps, systems and SOPs.
• Oversee management of project teams in production areas.
• Align global quality requirements with sites worldwide.
• Develop project concepts and feasibility studies for manufacturing.
• Verify technical compliance, conduct acceptance tests, and monitor commissioning and relocation of equipment.
• Provide customer support in all project phases.
• Collaborate with R&D on manufacturability.
• Work with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement to improve quality and yield.
• Review technologies and facilities for cost-efficiency.
• Mentor junior project managers.
