Job summary

Standard Chartered seeks a Programme Manager, CIB Strategic Regulatory & Risk Initiatives in Bukit Jalil, KL, to drive large-scale regulatory and risk programmes within Transformation & Change. The role collaborates across divisions to ensure delivery of pan-bank initiatives and regulatory actions.

The successful candidate will coordinate 1LOD/2LOD, manage multiple workstreams across countries, and deliver compliant, scalable solutions in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of hands-on experience in programme / project management and stakeholder management in financial services.
• Experience managing regulatory and risk programmes and projects in financial services.
• Excellent written, communication and presentation skills; able to engage and manage senior stakeholders.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and with global teams.
• PMP or equivalent certification and Agile certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate CIB and pan-Bank programmes, aligning with strategic objectives.
• Plan, analyse, solution, and coordinate inputs from stakeholders across functions.
• Create and deliver governance structures, overseeing workstreams and projects.
• Manage workstream deliveries and drive regulatory and risk agenda with cross‑functional groups.
• Collaborate with 1LOD/2LOD, technology, and architecture teams to align with bank strategy.
