Job summary

Responsibilities include preparing progress claims, subcontractor payments, variation orders, and ensuring documentation complies with safety policies and company rules. Diploma or Bachelor's in QS and 3+ years' experience required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Generate accurate cost estimates during tender process; factor in materials, labour, equipment and overhead costs.
• Conduct contract administration and document detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Perform value engineering to optimize project costs while maintaining quality and functionality.
• Evaluate scope changes, draft variation orders and ensure proper documentation.
• Draft, review and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies.
• Submit progress claims by the 25th of each month and ensure payment certificates issued within 14 days.
• Prepare subcontractor payment certificates by the 25th of each month and certificates issued by the 7th of the following month.
• Identify financial risks and strategies for mitigation; monitor and control project costs.
